- Details: This is a really beautiful, and complete, liquor glass bottle. It was sold with JW Dant's 10 yrs old Kentucky Straight Bourbon and designed to commemorate the American Legion 50th Anniversary, 1919 -1969. The dark cobalt blue glass is gorgeous, the decal commemorating the legion soldiers is one one side, and there is an embossed American Eagle on the other side that is absolutely wonderful! It retains its original stopper, it is large round blue glass with an embossed eagle foil label. The bottle neck features 4 small pour spouts. We say it's complete, because this bottle retains the original side label from JW Dant showing this was bottled in Louisville, Kentucky AND it has a partial piece of the original tax strip. The bottom of the bottle is embossed: "J. W. Dant 1969". This would make a lovely vintage addition to your bar. It is a nice compact size, ideal for a bar cart. Great display for Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July and the Eagle side can be displayed year-round. A great gift for a bottle collector, a legionnaire, veteran and beautiful as bar decor!
